WEDDING AND EVENT POLICIES


Deposit Policy:

  • The Den Barber Shop and Shave Parlor is a very busy community barbershop in the heart of Laguna Beach, California. We receive several inquiries throughout the year for special events and weddings, and dates fill up quickly. Therefore, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit by credit card, and for you to complete this form. Once we receive your form, we will call you to confirm availability and secure a deposit. 
  • The deposit will be applied toward your final cut and shave services.
  • The deposit will be non-refundable for reasons including but not limited to; cancellation of your event, wedding, date change, change in services, weather, sickness, etc.

Payment Policy:

  • 50% of the balance is due 30 days prior to the day of your event.
  • Remaining balance will be due one week prior to event.
  • Total amount will be non-refundable 48 hours prior to your appointment. This means you have up to 48 hours to cancel to receive a 50 percent refund.
  • Once your reservation for each guest in the party has been received and confirmed, services cannot be removed. You may add additional services up to two weeks prior to your event. Please contact us to ensure that we have sufficient time to accommodate additional services. Day of add-ons will be at the discretion of the barbers. However, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and cash as forms of payment.
  • All deposits and payments after services are rendered are non-refundable.
  • If any additional charges are incurred the day of, the remaining amount of those charges will be charged to the credit card on file.

Minimum Policy:

  • We do NOT require a minimum when you choose to book your services at our shop.

Travel Policy:

  • Depending on how far in advance you book, we may be able to travel to you on your event day. Please call the shop or email us to discuss further.      
  • For on location, the first 10 travel miles are free.

Additional Information:

  • A $100 charge will be added to events that have a getting ready start time earlier than 9 a.m.
  • A $100 charge will be added to events booked on a Saturday, Sunday and Monday, or on a holiday.
  • 20% gratuity will be added to parties of 6 people or more.
